About Sam
My work has always centered on leadership and the systems that shape it. I began in executive search before moving into strategy, organizational design, and human capital consulting, where I became deeply focused on talent analytics, leadership development, and the structures that help organizations grow.

A turning point came when I moved from individual contributor to people leader. Working with a coach helped me see blind spots, use strengths I had been under-leveraging, and step into opportunities I had not imagined.

That experience reshaped how I lead and sparked my commitment to coaching. I have held leadership roles at Heidrick & Struggles, Human Capital, and Blackstone, and advised early-stage and private-equity-backed companies navigating growth and transformation.

I trained in Leadership and Performance Coaching and Team Coaching at Brown University and hold an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential. I earned my BA from Columbia University in East Asian Studies, with a focus on Chinese and Japanese history.

Today, I bring the perspective of an operator, strategist, and certified coach. I partner with leaders to cut through complexity, align their systems, and lead with steadiness, purpose, and integrity.
